Consumer and Family Advisory Board (CFAB)

The Consumer and Family Advisory Board (CFAB), is a new board comprised of 15 consumer and family members. Through the annual budgetary process, they decide how financial resources shall be allocated for consumer and family driven and run services. CFAB will also serve as a sounding board for a variety of consumer and family issues. State Medicaid rules require that two-thirds of the board be Medicaid consumers or their family members, that the board members live in Jefferson Center's three county service area and that the consumers receive services from the public sector. CFAB meetings and subcommittee meetings will be open to the public.
