Careers at Jefferson Center - Savings Plans

401K: The Center currently provides for each eligible employee, a 401K retirement and savings plan to which the Center will contribute and the employee has the option to contribute. Employees are eligible the first of the month following their one year anniversary. The Center currently contributes 1% of the salary for each eligible employee and will currently match employee contributions up to an additional 3% of salary. The employee's contribution is voluntary and may exceed the 3% matched by the Center. Contributions are made on pre-tax basis.

Tax Sheltered Annuity: Currently, the Center provides a tax sheltered annuity program(Internal Revenues Codes Section 403(B))to any employee who wants to participate, on a voluntary payroll reduction basis. The Center does not contribute to the program.

Credit Union: The Center is a member of the Colorado Central Credit Union. All employees are eligible to join. Deposits to the credit union are made through payroll deductions.

Flexible Spending Account: Currently, the Center makes available a flexible spending account, which allows qualified individuals to set aside funds, on a pre-tax basis, for pre-determined health care and/or dependent care expenses.
