Suicide Alertness Training

ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training)

ASIST is for caregivers who want to feel more comfortable and competent in helping to prevent the immediate risk of suicide. By the end of this two-day, highly interactive, practical, practice-oriented workshop you will be better able to:

  • Dispel myths about suicide
  • Identify the indicators and assess suicidal risk
  • Intervene with someone at risk of suicide
  • Utilize suicide prevention resources in the community.
