Helping Kids Thrive Conference a Success - 11/19/2009

 Community Thanks Jefferson Center For 50 Years - 4/30/2008
More than 500 community and business leaders recently showed their appreciation for the Center's first 50 years of service and the thousands of lives that have been changed. "Destinations and Dreams," Jefferson Center's 50th Anniversary Gala was held on April 17th at the Arvada Center with Honorary Chair First Lady Jeannie Ritter. The sold-out event honored the staff and supporters of the Center who have provided services and work to ensure a healthy community. Full Story

Better to aid mentally ill outside of jail, report says - 4/19/08
One of every five inmates jailed in the seven- county Denver metro area has a serious mental illness, and housing them takes a $34.4 million annual bite out of the counties' tight budgets, according to a new report by a Metro Area County Commissioners' task force. Full Story
