Criminal Justice/Integrated Case Management

Mission

The mission of the Criminal Justice/Mental Health (CJ/MH) Integrated Case Management program is to increase access to appropriate mental health and related services. The goal of the program is to improve mental health and reduce criminal behavior and incarceration.

Who Is Eligible?

18 years of age or older

Resident of Jefferson or Gilpin County

Diagnosis of severe and persistent mental illness or acute episode of mental illness

Appropriate/safe to receive services in the community

Non-violent offenders

The CJ/MH can assist in providing or accessing the following:

Mental Health and/or Psychiatric Care

Referral to community services

Education/Information

Training

and more.

    Referrals can be made by anyone, including yourself, your family, probation, jail, attorney, doctor or friend.

    The CJ/MH team works very closely with various organizations who provide community services to offenders in the 1st Judicial District including Law Enforcement, District Attorney’s Office, Probation, Pre-Trial Services/Diversion, Jefferson County Jail, and the Public Defender’s Office
