StaffOur staff strive to maintain a safe environment. The ROAD’s code of conduct, developed by our Youth Advisory Board, emphasizes respect and responsibility for self and others. As a drop-in resource center participants are expected to take responsibility for their own conduct and safety and utilize the supports and services available. The Program Coordinator oversees The ROAD’s operations which include supervising staff, facilitating community collaboration and coordinating the Community Advisory Board. Our Transitions Facilitator provides transition services to participants at The ROAD and assists in supervision of drop-in hours. Utilizing The Wraparound philosophy, young adults are empowered to determine their goals, strategies and support systems as they transition to adulthood. The Activities Specialist works with the Youth Advisory Board and Community in order to develop and implement activities which foster growth and a sense of community. Our Clinicians work with youth through The Road and CrossRoads program. They provide therapeutic interventions that include individual, family, group and clinical case management with our clients. The Peer Specialist provides peer support to participants at The ROAD, including on-site tutoring, mentoring and leadership skills building. The Peer Specialist works with ROAD staff to offer youth a comprehensive array of services as they transition to adulthood. Americorps Members, volunteers and interns assist with supervising drop-in hours as peer mentors and job specialists. The Community Advisory Board is made up of parents and community providers who are committed to supporting youth into their adulthood. Its purpose is to provide direction so that The ROAD continues to meet community needs. Please contact us if you would like to present or participate. We welcome anyone who is interested in volunteering to contact us. |
